Book NowDoes This Sound Like You?
You practice hard, but your progress isn’t consistent. Sometimes you play great, sometimes bad but you don’t know why and it’s frustrating. Â
You feel tense when you play and you feel like your technique should be more relaxed, but you don't know how to achieve that.
When you try to play fast, you either play sloppy, or you can't play fast at all.
You know you should practice, but when you get behind the piano you don't know exactly what to do and it's eating at your motivation.
You feel like your practice can be much more efficient, but you don't know exactly how to get there.
You've tried teachers before, but they always seem to give you instructions instead of deeper understanding and before you know it, you're stuck again.Â
A different approach
What Usually Happens...
Â
Usually, teachers look at how you play during a lesson and correct what they see and hear. F.e. ; You play with tension, so they give you an exercise to help you relax. The exercise helps a bit, but sooner or later, you find yourself struggling with the same tension again.
Instead of simply correcting how you play, I ask a different question: Why are you playing with tension in the first place?
For example, perhaps you're relying too much on your fingers instead of making better use of your wrists and arms. In our lessons, we'd work on coordinating your whole body more effectively, so you can experience what it feels like to play without unnecessary tension.
Rather than just correcting the result, I investigate how you got there - and tailor the lessons and exercises to address the underlying cause.
Most teachers send you home with instructions. I send you home with a clear, personalised strategy.Â

Book TodayA little bit about me
Everything I Was Taught Wasn't Enough
Â
At 11, I won my first competition. I went on to study at the Prins Claus Conservatory, perform concertos with orchestras, appear on national radio and television, and built a career as a teacher and concert pianist. (read full bio here)
But despite those achievements, which look good on paper, I suffered from horrible stage fright.
Sometimes I played amazing on stage, but sometimes I played terribly. And I could never anticipate how I was going to play. It felt like playing Russian roulette.
What was even more frustrating was that, despite studying with many professional teachers, nobody could explain to me how to achieve predictable results. So much was taught through intuition and imitation. I would be shown or told what to do, but I didn't necessarily understand why it worked — or why it sometimes didn't.
More than anything, I wanted to be able to trust my preparation, walk on stage with confidence, and know that I could deliver the performance I was capable of.
So, together with my piano duo partner, Dimitar Dimitrov, I became obsessed with understanding exactly how piano playing works. Not just what good playing looks and sounds like, but what actually makes it happen — and how to get consistent results without relying on guesswork or talent alone.
The years of research we did together now shape the way I teach.
When something isn't working in your playing, I don't want you to spend months repeating passages, practising hard, trying exercises, or wondering what you're doing wrong. I want to help you understand what's causing the problem, find a way to address it, and know what to work on when you sit down at the piano on your own.
With the right knowledge and guidance, you can play music you once thought was beyond your reach, make progress without years of trial and error, and develop the confidence to tackle new challenges on your own.
